About Me

I am a research scientist at Google London. I am also a final-year PhD Student in the School of Informatics at University of Edinburgh, under the supervision of Mirella Lapata. I am fortunate to be awarded a Google PhD Fellowship. I also have worked with Seung-won Hwang in Yonsei University, Peter J. Liu in Google Brain, and Sang-Woo Lee in NAVER AI Lab.

My research interests lie on the intersection of machine learning and natural language processing, mainly on using discrete and latent information in natural language, such as topics, sentiments, and syntax, to enable customization on text generation tasks such as text summarization.
